Welcome to County Clare. We hope you have or recently had a wonderful visit to the County. The Tourism Department in Clare County Council (the authority responsible for local government in Clare) would greatly welcome your feedback on your visit. If you complete the survey you will be automatically entered into a draw for our wonderful holiday break prize (See further below). The collective feedback from this survey will help guide our future tourism plans and those of many local tourism businesses.

Note: the survey is only open to VISITORS to Clare (either staying or day-tripping). It is NOT open to those living in Clare.

 

The PRIZE – A Holiday Break at Loop Head Lighthouse (for up to 5 people)

The prize, which can be taken up to December next year (2023), is a three-night break for up to 5 people sharing, staying in the Lightkeeper’s House at Loop Head Lighthouse, County Clare. It’s a spectacular setting perched within an enclosure at the tip of Loop Head. It provides 360-degree views of the sea down to Kerry Head and Dingle and across to the Cliffs of Moher. The surrounding coastline features dramatic cliffs sculpted by Atlantic storms where rock ledges, caves and the sea are home to seabirds, seals, dolphins, and other maritime animals.

The Lightkeeper’s House is warm and cosy, has a double, twin and single bedroom, oil-fired central heating, a wood-burning stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. All cooking utensils, towels and linens are provided. It’s perfect for an unforgettable break!

 

Survey Terms and Conditions

  • To participate in the survey, you must be a non-resident of County Clare, who is currently visiting or has recently visited the County.
  • You must be aged 18 or over.
  • Ideally, the survey should be completed online within 10 days of your visit, but no later than Monday, October 10, 2022.
  • The survey may only be completed once. Participating more than once will disqualify.
  • One lucky winner will be selected by a draw and notified in mid-October, 2022.
  • The 3-night break prize at the Loop Head Lightkeeper’s House must be taken before December next year (2023). The dates are subject to availability and exclude public holiday weekends
  • Your contact name and email will only be held until the winner has been confirmed and in case you are the prize winner. It will then be deleted.  It will not be used for any other purpose.
