Professor Mark Hennesy from Trinity College Dublin will give a talk on the history of the Tara Brooch. It is considered to represent the pinnacle of early medieval Irish metalworkers’ achievement!
The Tara brooch was exhibited internationally and was one of the artifacts that fuelled the Celtic Revival in the mid-19th century. It is now on display in the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin. Come immerse yourself in some culture and browse our own beautifull artefacts! Our original designs have been inspired by the Book of Kells, another national treasure that is kept in Trinity College Dublin. We hand print all our garments and have been since 1979.
