Kim Thittichai is a textile tutor, artist and author with four published books on the market. A year ago she moved from the bright lights and chaotic traffic of Brighton on the South Coast of the UK, to the rather remote area of Fodra on the West Coast of County Clare – in her words from the ridiculous to the sublime.
Living very close to Ross Bay she is fascinated by the variety of seaweed that is to be discovered there, the exciting colors, textures and forms. ‘Inspired by the Wild West’ is an exhibition of new work, inspired by her new home. She is now teaching in her studio in Clare and online.
