Talk & walk in Shannon on the birds of the River Shannon & River Fergus Estuaries, the most important wetland for overwintering waterbirds in Ireland supporting over 20,000 waterbirds over the winter

Alex Ash, Senior Ornithologist, McCarthy Keville O’Sullivan Ltd., Planning & Environmental Consultants, will talk about the array of wildfowl and waders on the evening and the work being done for one of the largest bird survey ever undertaken in Ireland, on bird usage numbers across the entire Special Protection Area.
