Dave Flynn’s Irish Memory Orchestra is the first and only orchestra in the Western world to play exclusively from memory. Its spectacular performances of Flynn’s imaginative music bring audiences to their feet from London to Moscow, Korea to Clare.
The 20 piece ensemble includes conductor Bjorn Bantock, harpist Anne-Marie O’Farrell and Clare’s own Jack Talty, (Ensemble Ériu). Legendary accordionist Máirtín O’Connor joins them in glór along with the sublime vocals of Niamh Varian-Barry, (ex-Solas) and Róisín Donohoe for the world premiere of new music created by Flynn for his glór Artist’s Association. Máirtín O’Connor’s uplifting music and Flynn’s Clare Concerto bring the show to a dazzling crescendo.
