Cormac Begley and Steve Cooney
Cormac is a concertina player from a musical West-Kerry family. He received the Seán Ó Riada Award for concertina playing and his playing has been described as ‘a masterclass in timeless musicianship’ by the Irish Times. Australian born guitarist, bassist, producer and didgeridoo player, Steve Cooney, is one of the most dynamic modern performers in traditional music. He is also one of the most sought-after musicians / producers in traditional music

Éilís Crean, John Regan and John Mock
Born in Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon, Éilís grew up in a house where traditional Irish music was cultivated and cherished. Her fiddle playing reflects the East Galway style, and leans heavily on the influences she learned from her teacher, the great Eddie Kelly. John Regan has developed his music for the accordion to incorporate the rhythmic and decorative styles of Michael Coleman and James Morrison. John Mock, a native of New England, was the resident guitar-player for Maura O’Connell for over 20 years and has also worked with Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks.

Catherine McEvoy, Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh and Jack Talty
Catherine is one of the finest exponents of the North Connacht tradition of flute playing and is this year’s recipient of the Musician of The Year Award at the TG4 Gradam Ceoil Awards. A native of Co. Meath, Micheal Ó Raghallaigh is undoubtedly one of the foremost concertina players of his generation. Jack Talty is a fine traditional concertina and piano player, record producer and composer from Co. Clare.

Lily O’ Connor, Eve O’ Connor and Caoilte Morrison
On concertina, harp and flute, this trio of talented young musicians will present tunes with authenticity and steady rhythm.

The concert will be hosted by singer and songwriter Tim Dennehy, who will also sing a few songs throughout the night.
