Originally created for the Sligo’s Hawk’s Well Theatre Mad Hatter programme, Noel Molloy’s sculptural wall relief works are inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic surreal characters in Through the Looking Glass. The book’s tale of confusion, bewilderment and fantastical imagery provide Molloy with a rich palette to draw upon. In this exhibition aimed at children and young people, the artist uses found objects to create bold images of the White Rabbit et al, which are also brought to like in an accompanying film. Opening reception Friday, 4th May from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
