Chris Droney, Áine McGrath and Francis Droney
Chris Droney is one of the most respected concertina players in Ireland. The legendary musician from Bellharbour was born in 1924. His father, James and Grandfather Michael (1829-1927) also played concertina and Chris learnt by ear from the age of eight.
He went on to play in several bands and to win ten All-Irelands titles.
Chris will be joined by his son Francis and Aine McGrath. Francis is continuing the family tradition on concertina and he is regarded as fine exponent of the concertina playing of Co. Clare. Aine McGrath is a talented distinguished fiddle player and will be joining the Droney Duo for an exciting musical performance.

The Boruma Trio
The Boruma Trio is a musical collaboration that unites the two stylistically contrasting musical traditions of East Clare and North Tipperary. It features fiddler Eileen O’ Brien from North Tipperary, accordion player Andrew MacNamara from East Clare and the piano and tin whistle skills of Dr. Geraldine Cotter from Ennis. The Boruma Trio represent the very best of East Clare and North Tipperary music combined.
