Ballysheen or Baile Oisín reminds us of the Fianna and so we will visit a giant rock, where the Fianna sharpened their swords before battle. Later, we will jump a couple of millennia to visit two houses built by Lord Leconfield after the famine for his tenant farmers. One house has been modernised and the other is original. Our walk will end in Ballysheen graveyard where we will talk about St. Finnachta. We will show what conservation works have been carried and what remains to be done.
