The West Clare Railway is in Moyasta, County Clare and is a heritage narrow gauge railway museum.
A key feature at the museum is the original steam engine ‘The Slieve Callan’ – built by German Engineer, Henry Dubs & Co in 1892 in Glasgow. The engine has been fully restored and is in operation at the museum.
The station house has the original ticket office, Waiting Room and Ladies Waiting Room.
The Slieve Callan steam engine will run as follows for the 2019 season:
June – Sunday June 9th & Sunday June 23rd
July – Sunday July 7th & Saturday July 20th
August – Sunday August 4th & Sunday August 25th
Times: 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Children (over 3 years) €10
Family (2 adults + 2 children) €50
Children under 3 are free
