The Michael Cusack Centre in Carron, Co. Clare is situated amongst the rugged beauty of the Burren. The exhibition Centre, founded in memory of this legendary Irishman Michael Cusack relates his remarkable story through an audio visual exhibit set in the original thatched cottage where Michael was born in 1847 during the Famine years.
Irish History & The GAA
This truly immersive experience combines Irish history, culture and heritage in expressing the story of Michael Cusack’s life and times and explores his most outstanding legacy: the GAA. After this multimedia experience visitors can stroll down the Fairy Path or wander further afield along The Cusack Way, a stunning walk which meanders through the spectacular Burren terrain all the way to the impressive megalithic Cahercommaun Cliff Fort.

We are now open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm with the last tour of the day going through at 4pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
