Sail away on our 1-hour boat cruise to the Cliffs of Moher and breathe in the best of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The ferry sets sail along the Wild Atlantic Coastline from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher – and sails for about 20 minutes before arriving at the ‘Great Sea Stack’ and main viewing points.
The Cliffs of Moher are home to Ireland’s largest mainland nesting sea bird colony. The ferry crew is trained in conjunction with Bird Watch Ireland to spot and record puffins, razorbills, and guillemots nesting among the Cliffs ledges. The on-board commentary will educate you on the bountiful sea creatures that makes the Cliffs of Moher their home, while you relax and take in the dramatic scenery around you.
Viewing highlights include:
– The Great Sea Stack ‘An Branaunmore’
– Ireland’s largest mainland nesting Sea bird Colony
– O’Brien’s Tower atop the Cliffs of Moher
– The sea cave from ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’
– Local marine wildlife
The ferry gives you plenty of time to take photographs – then sails back along the coastline from the Cliffs of Moher to Doolin Pier.
Sailings depart every day from March to October (weather depending) and all sailings depart and return to Doolin Pier only. Upon arrival to Doolin Pier you will need to stop into the Cliffs of Moher Cruises pier ticket office to collect your boarding pass before boarding the ferry. As you do so, you may even be lucky enough to be greeted by the local dolphin!
