Fanny O Deas traditional pub is one of Ireland’s oldest family run pubs, and has been owned by the one family since the late 1600’s over 8 generations. Situated on the main Ennis to Kilrush Road N68 the story of the house goes back to the Cromwellian invasion about 1649.  For over 200 years the family have offered a warm welcome to those within its home shores and those that visit from across the seas. It is known the world over.

Old folklore says ‘its unlucky to pass this pub’ but why would you, historic, tasteful, relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful spacious beer garden, its traditional cuisine with a modern twist is served 7 days a week with a wide range of starters, mains and desserts available for guests throughout the Summer with Sunday lunch a firm favourite. Music sessions can be found here a few times a month and its best to contact the pub for dates and times. A courtesy bus is available for groups of 6 or more and can be booked in advance.

Fanny O’ Dea’s is also famous for the Egg Flip the house speciality, a warm drink made with a choice of Whiskey, Brandy or Baileys, it’s a secret family recipe handed down for from generation to generation.
