Hylands Burren Hotel is a member of the Burren Food Trail – proud winners of the European Destination of Excellence (EDEN) 2015 – Tourism and local gastronomy and Irish Restaurant Association ‘Foodie Town’ 2015 title holders.
Like all members of the Burren Food Trail, Hylands Burren is passionate about food, growing and producing it locally for their customers to enjoy. There is a good choice of seafood and other Irish cuisine as well as the all time favourites of freshly baked scones and tarts with freshly brewed coffees and teas. The Burren Bar Menu is an ideal choice for delicious snacks in the hotel bars – which date back to the original coaching house. Traditional Irish musicians and storytellers often frequent the Burren Bar, which has a wonderfully enchanting atmosphere.
Hylands Burren Hotel is open all year and food is served all day from Noon to 9 pm. You’ll find it in the centre of Ballyvaughan which is located on the mid point of the Wild Atlantic Way, on the West coast of Clare (south of Galway and along the N67 road).
