The village of Tuamgraney is developing rapidly into a very interesting tourist destination. It is very rich in historical and ecclesiastical attractions. One of the highlights is the East Clare Heritage Centre and the 10th century St Cronan’s Church where the centre is situated. It offers extensive information for the visitor particularly about Brian Boru, St Cronan’s church and East Clare in general. The village offers many activities ranging from horse riding, sightseeing to angling in the East Clare Lakelands. Reddan's Quay is an ideal location for fishing.
Tuamgraney is home to world renowned author Enda O'Brien. There is a plaque to honour her at the entrance to her birthplace Drewsboro Gate. Tuamgraney is also home to worls champion handball player- The Kirby Brothers.
Just outside the village at the East Clare Memorial park there is a plaque to commemorate Dr. Edward McLysaght, Historian.
The Oldest Oak Tree in Ireland is located in Raheen Woods just outside the village.
