Sea View House is a unique bed and breakfast on the Wild Atlantic Way where guests can enjoy luxurious accommodation and surroundings, superb food along with natural and warm hospitality.
The house is located in Doolin – a small village on the west coast of Ireland, world famous for its traditional Irish music. Located within the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geo Park and with the Aran Islands just 4 miles offshore, it is the ideal base from which to explore this part of Ireland.
Sea View House is beautifully perched on the side of a hill over-looking the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands. Across the bridge is Gus O’Connor’s pub where wonderful traditional live Irish music and great food can be enjoyed. The spectacular coastal walking trail linking the village of Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher and on to Hags Head, starts right outside Sea View’s front door.
The house offers accommodation in one of four spacious and elegant non-smoking guest rooms. Each stylish bedroom is finished to the highest standard and all rooms feature classic hand-made mahogany furniture. Complementary WiFi is available in all bedrooms and throughout the home.
Sea View House has gained recognition for the use of locally-sourced and home grown ingredients for breakfasts. Cheese served comes from the Cliffs of Moher and Burren Geopark while bacon is from Galway. The house grows its own tomatoes, rhubarb, strawberries and potatoes and bakes all of the breads – while all our eggs come from the resident flock of chickens. Sea View even makes its own salt from sea water collected at the bottom of the Cliffs of Moher.
For breakfast, guests may choose from a sumptuous buffet of home poached fruit’s, artisan cheese, home made yoghurt and more – before being served a low-food-mile dish prepared to order from the kitchen.
