- A full or half day “Nature Interaction” experience offered by a key member of the Burren Ecotourism Network. Drop in and take the tour at any time during June - September.
The experience includes an educative tour of the organic vegetable garden, orchards and mini farm from which the ingredients for the vegetarian kitchen are sourced, an onsite demonstration of the “reduce, reuse and recycle” mantra, a taster of sustainable building practices, an interactive clay processing and pot building experience, a meditative walk within the reed labyrinth, an informative tour of nature interaction within the sweat lodge site and contemporary stone circle and an interpretive nature trail. The tour has been designed to create an awareness of environmental interaction and how to get closer to nature and it includes components of nature interpretation and education as well as being fun and creative. Visitors can choose to come for a 2 hour tour including refreshments or stay for the full day, enjoy a delicious two course vegetarian lunch and get their hands and feet dirty in our nature based muddy activities such as ceramics or cob building.
