For many men, cooking was not part of their upbringing, and while they now enjoy preparing and presenting food, they may still lack some confidence in the kitchen. This course is designed to give confidence and teach the skills men need to really enjoy cooking for themselves or others. Aimed at men who want to master the basic skills and apply those skills to produce above average and tasty food, Men Only covers the fundamentals of cookery, from how to make sauces and gravy to soups, roast dinner with all the trimmings and some delicious desserts. Expect lots of tastings along the way. 

Recipes and skills will include learning how to cook a range of pasta sauces,  a selection of soups, including Leek & Potato and Red Onion, how to sear scallops and bake hake, plus some tasty meat main courses including Loin of Pork with Rosemary & Fennel paste and the classic French dish of Beef Bourguignon.
