Since the release of
their 3rd album, "The Passing of the night'', (recorded in Nashville
with members of Old Crow Medicine Show, The Cardinals and produced by
Brendan Benson of the Raconteurs), the Lost Brothers have been on the
road, touring extensively in Ireland, Europe and the US. They embarked
on a lengthy tour through America opening for Glen Hansard and followed
the tour with a run of their own American shows, including a stop off at
West Virginia to play NPR's Mountain Stage. Returning to Ireland to
appear on RTE's the Saturday Night Show, they then set off to the UK
where they toured again with Hansard before doing their own sold out
shows in the UK and Ireland. Then it was back over to the States and the
Losties were briefly based in Woodstock where they began writing
material for their next album. While there, they also played a show at
the famous Midnight Ramble at Levon Helm's barn after an invitation when
they went to see Levon the prior year. Heading North for the Folk
Alliance festival in Toronto, they then went south to Austin Texas,
where they joined Steve Earle, Amy Helm and the Midnight Ramble Band on
stage for a Levon memorial show at Shoreline Auditoriums. After a few
more shows in the US it was back home to tour with Billy Bragg and a run
of summer festivals. Since October, the Lost Brothers have been writing
and recording new material, which is due for release later in 2014.

The Lost Brothers were also listed among Hidden Track and Glide Magazine's Top Ten Bands To See at SXSW 2013.

The Irish Times describe the duo as "the ghost of Hank Williams whispering a secret to the Everly Brothers"

NME described their debut album as "Otherworldly" 8/10.
