Ennis Singers Club meet on Friday 12th April at the bar in Cois na hAbhna with special guest Anne Droney Kirrane of Tuam, Co. Galway and formerly of Belharbour, Co. Clare. Anne is the daughter of the legendary Chris Droney one of the most respected concertina players in Ireland and Clareman of the Year 2012. Anne learned concertina from her Dad and won three All Ireland Fleadh Ceoil awards. When she moved to work in Tuam, she began to sing and took leading roles in stage productions with the local musical society. Anne guests regularly with the Sean Keane Band and Citizen Keane and of course will play a few tunes also at her gig in Ennis. She launched her first CD One Small Star in April 2012.
