Stagecoach Clare at Cois na hAbhna have announced a five day Summer Camp for children aged 7 to 16, from the 8th to 12th July 2013.
This year, Stagecoach celebrated 25 years as the world's most successful part time theatre school and eight County Clare students performed in the largest ever performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham on March 30th.
The centre, which is complementary to, yet independent of normal academic study will perform the comedy musical, Porridge! By Craig Hawes.
40 children and teenagers will rehearse and perform this one hour musical working with a team of four professional directors in five days. This is essentially two summer camps in one week, Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4pm and Friday 10am to 7pm, with the show for family and friends at 6pm on the final day, to which all are invited at no extra cost.
The cost of the holiday workshop is 135 euro and siblings are 80 euro. (a 50 euro deposit guarantees a place in writing and balance is payable at Cois na hAbhna, Gort Rd, Ennis on Monday 8th July.
