A cultural and musical exchange between traditional musicians, artists and dancers of North Clare and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The theme of the exchange is to explore why Irish music means so much to people and why they will travel from all over the world to be part of that tradition. With Musicians on this Project traveling from Scotland, South Africa, Australia, Argentina and France. This is truly an international affair.

The Rose of Clare festival is very much family orientated with activities catering for all ages. The highlights include family funday events, tug-o-war, dog show, table quiz, race nite, pub singing competition, ceili, parish golf outing, discos and of course the crowning of the 2014 Rose of Clare.

Visitors to Craggaunowen visitor attraction near Quin, Co Clare during the August Bank Holiday weekend (Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th August) will be swept back in time to experience a special ‘Lughnasa’ celebration spanning the Iron Age through the Early Medieval, Viking Age, the Anglo-Normans to the 16th Century.
