The Killaloe Farmers Market is one of County Clares finest and most vibrant Farmers Markets. The Killaloe Market started in 2004 as part of Killaloes Brian Boru Festival and has grown into one of the areas most famous weekly attractions. Opening Times:11.00am to 3pm, Every Sunday Rain or Shine. Location between the Waters just on the slipway of the Killaloe Ballina Bridge. Parking is available on the slipway and nearby.

The Mountain Bike Challenge - Lough Derg 2012 will take place over Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd of April 2012 and is your chance to explore and enjoy some of the finest off-road trails around Lough Derg in Co. Clare. With kind permission from Coillte and several land owners, The East Clare Way and Lough Derg Ways, you will have access to some of the country's most stunning views and ride through areas and tracks that are not generally available to Mountain Biking.

Feile Brian Boru Festival takes place early in July each year. This 3 day event celebrates one of Ireland’s most famous kings. Reputed to have broken the power of the Vikings in Ireland, Brian Boru was originally from Killaloe. This festival has a distinctive Viking age flair with its Viking village and market. There are plenty of entertaining events taking place throughout the festival so you won’t be short of things to do and see.
