Clare County Library is delighted to be part of the ‘Welcoming Claire to County Clare’ weekend, a project led by the Clare Volunteer Centre. The library welcomes author, Claire Kilroy, to the DeValera branch in Ennis on Saturday, 22nd June at 11 am. Claire will read from her latest novel, The Devil I Know, followed by a Q&A. She will also talk briefly about how she got her name.

The Clare Volunteer Centre in association with The Gathering Clare 2013 Steering Group is organising a unique Gathering which will take place on Sunday, 23rd June at 2pm at the Cathedral, Ennis, Co. Clare. We will attempt to break a World Record for the largest ever gathering of people whose first name is Clare, Claire or Clair.
