Ballyvaughan Farmers Market presents Christmas Fayre 2014 on Saturday 13th / 14th and Saturday 20th of December, 10am – 4pm. The perfect time and place to pick up your locally grown Christmas vegetables & luxury, seasonal cakes and preserves. We also have locally produced honey & cheese, jams, fish, meats & treats and a host of local handmade crafts to finish off your gift shopping. St John’s Hall, Ballyvaughan Village.

Monthly heritage walks take place on the first Sunday of every month at 2pm. These monthly walks are open to everyone who has an interest in the Burren and in its natural, built and cultural heritage. The walks are lead by a different expert each month for 2.5 hours and are €10 per person per walk.

Ruby Wallis is a lens-based artist and PhD researcher at NCAD (Dublin). She lectures visual culture and the history of art and photography at GCD and also a visiting lecturer at Burren College of Art, LIT and GMIT. Her recent work will be on show in the Gallery at the Burren College of Art for four weeks.
