Monthly heritage walks take place on the first Sunday of every month at 2pm. These monthly walks are open to everyone who has an interest in the Burren and in its natural, built and cultural heritage. The walks are lead by a different expert each month for 2.5 hours and are €10 per person per walk.

Every Monday a themed food event will take place in locations around the Burren. Each individual event represents a unique opportunity to combine good food with real, authentic interaction with the people who produced or prepared it, or indeed with the surrounding landscape and heritage.

Established in 2004. Having steadily grown over the seasons it is now recognised and enjoyed by locals and visitors as a premium food market offering a diverse range of quality foods. You are guaranteed a choice of seasonal, fresh, local food. These include salads, fruit & vegetables, cheese, fish, meat, honey, sweet & savoury preserves, juices, dairy produce, bread and cakes, seaweed products and local craft.

Burren Art & Craft is a collective of Craft workers, Photographers & Artists all based and working in the Burren region of North Clare, Ireland. Every Sunday from May – October a craft fair is held in Ballyvaughan Village Hall, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare. This craft fair showcases the vibrant art and craft scene in the Burren region and features many different, unique, quality handcrafted products.

Our Summer 2015 Programme offers a varied selection of five-day courses in painting, drawing and photography. To our regular courses in Botanical, Abstract and Landscape Painting we have added a week of Oil Painting in Still Life and Portraiture, Life drawing and Painting with Nature.
