Martha is a graduate of Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork and has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland. Her work explores the domestic and gardening utensil and its effect on the user; works are made from a mixed media of paper porcelain, woven wire, carved wood and painted drift wood.

Monthly heritage walks take place on the first Sunday of every month at 2pm. These monthly walks are open to everyone who has an interest in the Burren and in its natural, built and cultural heritage. The walks are lead by a different expert each month for 2.5 hours and are €10 per person per walk.

Every Monday a themed food event will take place in locations around the Burren. Each individual event represents a unique opportunity to combine good food with real, authentic interaction with the people who produced or prepared it, or indeed with the surrounding landscape and heritage.

Free Event from 12-6pm.Come and celebrate the first day of Spring - St Brigid’s Day, in Scariff Community Garden in Clare. Brigid is associated with weaving crosses, healing and poetry and there will be weaving of crosses, poetry, singing and music, food and mini healing demonstrations in the garden and Co-op buildings. Bring a song, poem, story or something to share and sow seed wishes for the coming year.
