Halloween horror is the order of the day at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park on bank holiday Monday the 31st of October from 12noon to 6pm.
There’s something for all the (Addams) family, with new events for 2016 including the terrifying 14ft Wolf Man that will chill even the bravest of souls and the Grime and Gore magic show with Tony Baloney!
Back by popular demand is Halloween Spook Train ride and Hallow Scare Haunted House where ghosts and goblins will appear when you least expect it. Don’t miss your chance for a face to face with a ghastly talking head or engage in a mystifying séance. Brave visitors will also relish the opportunity to descend into the basement of Bunratty Castle to visit the spooky crypt, where a famous blood-sucker lies in his coffin, waiting…
All manner of creepy creatures will be on hand at the folk park for visitors to get close to, if they dare. Spooky snakes and scorpions, lizards and owls, and a terrifying tarantula. Children will enjoy free face painting- upon arrival so that trick-or-treating can be at its scariest during the afternoon. Traditional Halloween games such as snap apple and coin bobbing in the company of our wonderful Bean an Ti as well as Captain Jack’s Spooktacular Show, a mix of Halloween songs and dance along with a disco and amazing laser lights display.
An annual favourite returns in the form of the Thriller tribute, a performance of Michael Jackson’s legendary dance routine follows each Captain Jack show.
A fantastically spooky and scary day is promised.
