Enjoy a weekend of talks, on archaeology, built heritage and conservation organised by Doolin Heritage at Hotel Doolin.
On Saturday 18th June, hear talks on new archaeological findings at Dangan Uí Bhigín the second most important Castle in Co Clare; details of a study of the cloister at Quin Friary and on developments since the Westropp survey; ” Chun Na Farrige Síos” (Down by the sea) -an overview of coastal Archaeology of NE Ulster; gain a better understanding of Irish piping and much more.
On Sunday morning there will be a walking tour of the heritage of Doolin starting at 11.00am at Killilagh Church and finishing at 12.30pm at Hotel Doolin.
While on Sunday afternoon there will be a Viking and Medieval life event and local cooking display, music and barbecue.
All proceeds will be in aid of the Killilagh Church Project and other Doolin Heritage Initiatives.
