The Boudoir Sessions experience comes to Ennis, Co Clare, for one night only! The show is on Bank Holiday Sunday 5th August, in the simply splendid Rowan Tree Cafe Bar commencing at 9.30pm till late.   Tickets cost E10, which includes a complementary tapas.
Regulars at Arts festivals, the Electric Picnic, and their own club nights from Limerick to Dublin, the Boudoir Sessions is a music and performance show styled pre 1960s. “Its got the low-lit allure of an urban club from the early 20th Century, the panache of an Art-Deco party sprinkled with the saltiness of a proper Speakeasy. Sassy swing band the Swell Berries, Gypsy fiddler Aranos, will be accompanied by the Boudoir Boys Djs: this pair will spin grandpa's finest gramophone groovers, from 1920s swing up to boogie woogie, calypso, early and the rock and roll of the 1950s.

Come dressed up with your finest vintage garb, or add some touches at the costume and accessories hire on the night. Georgous little bespoke treats await – like a fully framed picture perfect photo booth to capture your dastderdly dapper or frilly flapper moment. This show will also be the first to feature The Boilerhouse - the Boudoir Sessions very own idiosyncratic analogue sound system.

The Rowan Tree cafe is super-suited to such a show, with its dark wood, high ceilings, big windows, and chandeliers - the venue is dripping with apt athmosphere, having hosted hunt Balls in the 19th Century. This, the first and only by the in demand Boudoir Sessions in Clare for 2012, will be a humdinger!

Tickets available from the Rowan Tree Cafe Bar (065 686 8669) in advance, and on the night.
