Ballyalla Lake is a good sized lake located on the River Fergus just a short drive from Ennis. A park is present with toilet and picnic facilities. A car park is present also. The lake can be used for dinghy sailing. This lake would be suitable for aquatic and wildlife plants.

This garden is designed to look very simple, but as one moves around it, you begin to find "hidden" pathways leading to other sections or mini gardens. The main thrust is two long grass runways which meet at a focal point. These are traversed by stone and gravel pathways which lead in and out of other areas.
