Quin Abbey

Quin Abbey is just 9 miles from Ennis which was founded by the Mc Namaras in the 14th century. The cloisters were built in 1402 and remain one of the prominent features of the abbey. The Franciscan friars arrived later that century and inhabitated the abbey.
