- From April to October, Dunguaire Castle Banquet is at 5.30pm and 8.45pm while Knappogue near Ennis is at 6.30pm.

Join the Earl of Thomond in the splendour of the main guard of Bunratty Castle for a dinner experience not to be missed! Built in 1425 by the Earl of Thomond, the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet follows his tradition of hospitality and since 1963, the Ladies of the Castle, aided and abetted by the Earl's Butler, have welcomed guests from the four corners of the globe to dine at The Earl's Banquet at Bunratty Castle. The entertainment provided by the world renowned Bunratty Entertainers is a fitting compliment to a mead reception, a four course banquet meal, and of course good wine. The 35 minute spectacle which follows dinner is a superb selection of Irish medieval and traditional songs and instrumental music. The Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet is held twice nightly throughout the year at 5.30pm & 8.45pm.
At Knappogue Castle near Quin, just outside Ennis in Co. Clare, the Knappogue medieval banquet toasts an era of great Irish taste with excellent food, fine wine and honey mead. The Castle banquet features a colourful programme of music, song, and dance toasting the Kings . Enjoy music of the harp and fiddle followed by Medieval choral singing from the Ladies. The Earl’s Butler wittily recounts the history of the Castle finishing by explaining the ‘Rules of Chivalry’ practiced at Knappogue Castle and the dire consequences of breaching them! of Ireland through an entire evening of fun and merriment. Knappogue Castle Medieval Banquet operates from April - October at 6.30pm.
The Dunguaire Castle Banquet in Kinvarra offers an evening of superb food and wines along with renowned music, song and storytelling on the majestic shores of Galway Bay. Let the castle’s superb artists inspire you with extracts chosen from the works of great literary writers such as Yeats, Shaw, O’Casey and Synge. The entire evening lasts two and a half hours and the price includes entrance fee, government taxes, service charge, food, wine and entertainment.
