Conditions are best for bass, flounder and plaice while using ragworm, sandeel and lugworm.
Lahinch Beach has full-time lifeguards on duty for July and August from 11am to 7 pm daily.
Lahinch Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag award. The Blue Flag award is an exclusive eco-label awarded to more than 3,000 beaches and marinas in 28 countries in the Northern Hemisphere. It symbolises high standards in the following areas: Environmental education and information, Environmental management, Water quality, Safety and services. Local visitors play a key part in keeping the Blue Flag prestige by taking responsibility for their dogs and for their litter.
