Fishing is unsuitable in rough or heavy swell conditions. Best results can be achieved at high water. Bottom fishing on rough ground for rockling and conger using mackeral bait is best along with float fishing for wrasses using lugworm and crab. Spinning for mackeral and pollack also takes place here.
