Doolin is the Shortest and the Fastest crossing to the Aran Islands. We operate steel European Class 2A ships, the highest saftey standard awarded to domestic passenger ships in Ireland. Other boats in Doolin are built of G.R.P (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and awarded a much lower Class 6 saftey standard. THE M.V. TRANQUILITY is the largest and most comfortable ship trading from the port of Doolin. She has a Class 2A saftey certificate. This is the highest awarded to domestic passenger ships in Europe. Because of her size and weight (Steel contruction) she is much more steady in the water than other, smaller GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) boats that also trade from doolin. This, added with her unrivaled seating and many extra features makes her the most comfortable ship in doolin.
