Mooghaun Woods, Dromoland Estate, Co Clare
Mooghaun hillfort (spelled Moghane in Irish) located in Co. Clare is thought to be the largest hillfort in Ireland. Built just after 1260-930 B.C. it is situated "on a low hillock in a fairly gently undulating landscape of good agricultural land dotted with many small lakes".

We offer a wide variety of activities at nevsail. We run a kids summer camp all summer long. We teach approved ISA & ICU courses in sailing/ powerboating/ kayaking and canoeing for both adults and children. Group days out are also a great hit.
Kildysart, Co Clare
Located two miles on the west side of Kildysart village. You can fish on the eastern end produces conger dogfish bull huss thornback ray and freshwater eels with crab mackeral and freshwater eel as bait.
County Clare has been fortunate in securing a number of excellent new Loop Walks as part of the Shannon Trails/Failte Ireland initiative. There are three in East Clare and one in Mid Clare.
