West Clare, Co Clare
The Annageeragh River is located in West Clare. It flows out of Doo Lough a lake near the borders of Mullagh and Kilmaley and flows in a westerly direction for approximately 7 miles where it enters the sea near Quilty.
Seafield Pier and Beach, Co Clare
The pier is located is 2.5Km south west of Clare. The popular fishing mark occurs on the surf beach at the southern end. The main fish present here are bass and flounder using ragworm lugworm and fish bait. Flounder has been taken from the pier at high tide.
Spanish Point Beach, Spanish Point, Co Clare
The beach is located on the northern side of the village. You can fish the flooding tide for flatfish and bass using lugworm and sandeel as bait. You can also spin for pollack on the Black Rock at the northern end of the beach.
Spanish Point, Miltown Malbay, Co Clare
Spanish Point Golf Club is a lovely links course overlooking the beach on the west coast of Clare. It has some 3 par holes which demand accuracy in shot making especially when there is a strong Atlantic wind blowing. This course provides a challenging game for all categories of golfers.
