Doonaha
Kilkee, Co Clare
This pier is situated about a half a kilometer to the east of the village. Ideal fishing includes bottom fishing for dogfish dab and flounder using fishbait crab and lugworm. Spinning and float fishing occurs here aswell producing wrasse and pollack.
Doonbeg River
West Clare, Co Clare
The Doonbeg River is located in West Co.Clare. The river rises near the Kilmihil/Kilmaley border and flows southward for approx 7 miles and then turns northwest and continues for approx 15 miles through Cooraclare before entering the sea at Doonbeg.
East Clare Lakelands
East Clare, Co Clare
The villages of Tulla, Broadford and Feakle are surrounded by some 30 to 40 lakes collectively referred to as the East Clare Lakelands. This is a renowned coarse and pike angling area in a beautiful rural setting.
Gortglass & Cloonsneachta Lake
Kildysart, Co Clare
These two lakes are 50 acres and 15 acres respectively. They are stocked annually by the local fishing club with brown trout but does have a limited stock of wild fish present. The average size trout is from 1lb to about 3lbs.

Kildysart Village, Co Clare
Located below the village of Kildysart lies a winding creek. Flounder are plentiful here and crab bait fished on the flooding tide is best. Float fishing for mullet also occurs here.
